About The Team
The Paid Search team are one of the leading teams responsible for driving traffic to the website and stores thereby generating revenue. This team leverage digital marketing channels within paid search landscape to deliver total campaign metrics and optimize ROI for maximum profitability by creating programs from concept to execution or optimizing current programs.
Job Summary
As a Lead Analyst, you will work alongside a team of peers and analysts to execute all paid search efforts including campaign ideation, setup, optimization, testing, and analysis. You will be responsible for delivering connectivity across platforms within the channel, and will formulate campaign strategy, research keywords, targeting data, campaigns, potential vendor partners, and competitive activity to craft effective digital marketing programs.
You must be able to analyze complex data sets to identify target audience opportunities, forecast results and budget expectations. You must be able to navigate conversations in a cross-functional environment to help the paid search team get the collaterals needed for their smooth day-to-day functioning.
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) to achieve business goals.
- Conduct keyword research, develop ad copy, and create landing pages for paid search campaigns.
- Set up and manage bidding strategies, budgets, and campaign goals
- Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, including metrics like CTR, conversion rates, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and other KPIs
- Understand SEM and have a proven track record of working in an autonomous team structure to drive the right content (marketing-led) and site (tech led) changes to improve traffic
- Regularly review and optimize paid search campaigns to improve ROI and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Monitor and adjust campaigns in real-time to improve performance and optimize spend
- Communicate campaign progress, insights, and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders
Years Of Experience
- 6+ years in a similar role preferably in advertising agency or retail industry
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree one is marketing on related field is a plus.
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant platforms
- Strong understanding of tracking and attribution models, including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
- Act as a subject matter expert on everything paid search
- Ability to mentor teammates on technical pieces
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot campaigns
- Stay up to date on industry best practices to infuse into current campaigns as needed
- Experience with bid management tools. Presentation/PowerPoint intermediate skills
- Conduct competitive research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities
- Strong ability to analyze campaign data and generate actionable insights to improve performance
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Google Ads certification is preferred
- Oversight of marketing budget for paid search program, responsible for delivering projects across the organization on time, on budget and on brand
- Perform in-depth analysis of competitors paid search tactics to inform campaign strategies
