Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation, or a related field.
5–6 years of experience in data analytics/science, business analysis & operations analysis
Exposure to automation, continuous improvement, or cost-optimization initiatives is an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret operational data and derive meaningful insights.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Solid foundation in statistics, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Strong programming skills in Python (data analysis, modeling, automation); R or Java is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel for analytics and reporting.
Job Description
Optimization & Scenario Modeling
Build and implement optimization and simulation models to enhance crew utilization, pairings, and roster efficiency while ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.
Conduct scenario analysis and what-if simulations to evaluate business trade-offs and support strategic workforce planning decisions.
Operational Performance & Reporting
Design, automate, and maintain dashboards (Power BI / SQL-based) tracking KPIs related to manpower, flight operations, delays, OTP, and utilization.
Own MIS and management reporting, translating analytical outputs into clear insights and recommended action plans.
Monitor performance of models and analytics solutions and continuously optimize for accuracy and business relevance.
Data Infrastructure & Automation
Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data availability, quality, security, and scalability.
Drive automation of repetitive analytics, reporting, and planning processes using SQL, Python, and visualization tools.
Ensure analytics solutions are production-ready and aligned with enterprise data standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Business PartnershipWork closely with cross-functional teams including Flight Operations, Inflight Services, OCC, Engineering, AOCS, and Planning & Analytics.
Act as a thought partner in process redesign, technology implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing data-driven decision-making.
