- 7+ years of experience
- 4+ years experience in analytical role along with proficiency in Sql Power BI
Required Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor / Master s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Math or Business
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Hands-on experience working with Enterprise level databases (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata, GCP, DB2)
- Visual story telling with dashboards in Power Bi, MicroStrategy,Tableau, Superset, Presto
- Excellent communications skills to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across locations
- Ability to translate complex business problems, goals and objectives into actionable requirements
- Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams (Business/ Product / Data engineering / Software engineering/ UX) to scope, prioritize and develop solutions that are consistent with delivery roadmap
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Develop, maintain and improve descriptive and predictive analytics models and tools in support of Lowe s Pricing Promotions retail strategy
- Develop scalable retail test processes for baseline development, measurement and recommendations
- Perform data validation, outlier detection, and root cause analysis to prepare inputs for statistical and machine learning models
- Research, design, and develop applicable statistical and ML approaches for specific business problems
- Assess the quality of model output to identify results vs outliers and investigate root cause through detailed analysis of data inputs and code
- Relevant experience in retail analytics preferred
