Job Description

Empower India's Analytics vertical is seeking a LeadAnalyst to join its Reporting & Business Automation team. This role requires building automated data flows on AWS, implementing secure end-to-end APIs, using version control and managing data repositories that power AI-driven script automation. The individual is expected to have advanced Oracle SQL/PLSQL skills to source, validate and transform data, along with strong performance tuning capabilities. The responsibilities will include building automated KPI pipelines and scorecards, partnering with stakeholders to refine/document requirements and keeping workflow tools updated.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and automate data flows using AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EC2)
  • Implement secure APIs end-to-end, covering endpoint architecture, authorization, and payload checks
  • Utilize Git for version control
  • Manage data repositories that enable AI-based script automation and self-service business intelligence
  • Develop utilities and automations in Python and SAS; standardize scripts and create reusable components
  • Write advanced Oracle SQL / PL/SQL (joins, CTEs, analytic/window functions) to source, validate and transform data
  • Optimize query performance (indexes, execution plans, partitioning) for large tables
  • Establish and automate KPIs for intake/throughput, backlog, cycle time, and aging; publish weekly scorecards
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify objectives, data definitions and document requirements
  • Track delivery progress and communicate status; maintain up-to-date entries in the workflow tool

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics or Computer Science engineering

Certifications

  • AWS Certified Developer Associate (Preferred)

Required Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience working in Analytics, Data science or Application development
  • Deep understanding of databases and track record of handling requirements across multiple BI platforms, reporting systems leveraging relevant tool sets
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EC2) is preferred.
  • Experience with concepts of code versioning and GitLab
  • Experience working with JSON structure
  • Experience with API endpoints, authorization and payloads
  • Proficient in Python and SAS
  • Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT / Gemini / Copilot)
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and performance-tuning
  • Experience in US retirement / Insurance / financial services operations preferably in a Global capability center

Required Skills And Competencies

  • A performance-oriented, resourceful and self-starter with excellent data analytical skill set
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize business requests in face of changing priorities and competing demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working in a cross border set up will be preferred
  • Willingness to learn and an aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, contribute independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making
