Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly accounting and reporting activities related to Offers & Benefits, Merchant-funded Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.

  • Prepare and review reconciliations in a timely manner, identifying and resolving discrepancies effectively.

  • Manage email queries received through the shared mailbox, providing accurate and professional responses to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and business partners across functions, maintaining strong working relationships to support business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies while maintaining high standards of control and governance.

  • Drive continuous improvements by leveraging analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and basic techno-finance/automation know-how to enhance processes.

Critical Factors to Success:

  • The individual will be part ofthe Offers & Benefits process, in M&BD COE team

  • The incumbent shall be required to perform accounting& reportingactivities forMerchant funded ARon monthly basis

  • The incumbent will be responsible for preparing reconciliations

  • The candidate will be required to handle the e-mail queries received on shared mailbox and provide appropriate responses to the customers / stakeholders

  • The incumbent shall be required to maintain close contact with Stakeholders/ business partners

  • Should have sound accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP/ IFRS, Basic accounting standards and basic techno finance/automation skill/know-how will be an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. Demonstrate problem solving skills

  • The incumbent should focus on Accuracy, control & compliance

  • The candidate should have strong analytical skills

  • The successful candidate should be flexible & result oriented. Good Understanding of AMEX businesses, AMEX systems will be an advantage

  • This role may be subject to additional background verification checks

Skills:

  • Accounting Knowledge & Good Communication Skills with a minimum of 1.5 years experience

Academic Background:

  • MBA / post-graduate with 2+ years of experience/ CA Inter

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

  • Advance Microsoft Package Tools, Oracle ERP/Applications, IRIS & Accounting Knowledge.
