Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) Verification Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The Lead AMS Verification Engineer will be responsible for leading verification activities for analog and mixed-signal designs, developing verification plans, creating testbenches, and validating designs to meet functional specifications. The role involves close collaboration with design and validation teams, debugging both functional and performance issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AMS verification methodologies, including development of verification plans and implementation of test environments
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools like Verilog-AMS, SPICE, or SystemVerilog
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal circuit designs, including analog and digital components
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL to automate workflows
  • Actively train and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging and resolving functional and performance-related issues
  • Collaboration experience with cross-functional teams, including design, layout, and validation teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience in EDA tools and methodologies; exposure to Cadence or Mentor Graphics tools is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
