Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions, from problem definition and data exploration to model deployment and monitoring.
Architect scalable, reliable, and efficient AI systems aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver impactful AI-driven features.
Oversee model training, validation, and optimization using state-of-the-art techniques.
Ensure production readiness, including performance tuning, monitoring, and lifecycle management of models.
Establish best practices for data handling, model versioning, experimentation, and reproducibility.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies, and evaluate their applicability.
Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
Address ethical considerations, bias, and fairness in AI systems.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML systems.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.
Proven experience deploying models into production environments.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or mentoring engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with large-scale data processing tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of API development and microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
