Job Summary 

Adventures Overland is looking for an AI Expert who can build, train, optimize, and manage AI-powered systems, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in LLMs, RAG architecture, AI agent development, API integrations, prompt engineering, and automation platforms. 

This role requires someone who can independently create scalable AI-driven solutions for customer support, lead generation, sales workflows, internal operations, and productivity automation. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Build, train, and optimize AI agents and conversational AI systems. 

● Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based AI systems using vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval frameworks. 

● Work with LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and similar models. 

● Develop AI-powered automation workflows using: 

○ n8n 

○ Make.com 

○ Zapier 

○ Zoho Flow 

○ Pabbly 

● Integrate APIs, CRMs, WhatsApp systems, websites, and third-party platforms into AI workflows. 

● Create and optimize prompts for AI accuracy, response quality, and business use cases. 

● Build multi-step AI workflows and autonomous AI agents. 

● Monitor AI conversations and continuously improve training, accuracy, and performance. 

● Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technology teams to automate repetitive processes. 

● Stay updated with the latest AI technologies, tools, and trends. 

Required Skills 

● Strong understanding of: 

○ LLMs & Generative AI 

○ AI Agents & Autonomous Workflows 

○ Prompt Engineering 

○ RAG Architecture 

○ Vector Databases & Embedding Models 

○ API Integrations

● Hands-on experience with: 

○ OpenAI APIs 

○ Claude / Gemini APIs 

○ LangChain or similar AI frameworks 

○ Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or similar vector databases 

○ Automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Zoho Flow, and Pabbly 

● Experience building chatbot systems and AI workflows. 

● Understanding of automation architecture and workflow optimization. 

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Skills

● Experience building AI systems for customer support, lead management, operations, or marketing automation. 

● Knowledge of Python, Node.js, or Laravel integrations is a plus. 

● Experience with WhatsApp API integrations and CRM automation preferred. 

● Prior startup or fast-paced work environment experience preferred. 

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Automation and Robotics, with a focus on implementing and improving automated systems
• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles and Process Control methodologies
• Exceptional Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in AI-driven solutions is a significant advantage
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or expedition industry is a plus
