Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible to review and development of statistical model, validate the model and other data analysis and to deliver regular analytical requirement seamlessly specifically for credit and risk functions.

Key Challenges

Establishing the Data and Analytics practices
Team building and bonding
Enable data driven decision making culture
Stakeholder management and Cross team interactions
Handle first level of escalation
Liaise with business team and work for business goal
Thorough understanding of housing finance business and collections lifecycle
Help the business partners to grow the business

Enabling Skill Sets & Qualifications

Education in Quantitative Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering etc

Strong Interpersonal Skills, Team player, Leadership skills, excellent written & verbal communication skill etc. Expert in coding skill in R, Python or SAS and any data visualization tool,

Ability to work with multiple data sources	Handle data in various formats easily, including both structured and unstructured data Guide the company towards becoming a data driven organization
Collaborate with internal stakeholders	Proactively build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders for smooth cross-functional coordination and alignment towards achievement of business objectives Strong cross functional engagements including support functions like IT, etc. Validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for departmental heads/management, and relevant stakeholders.
Team management	Building of skilled and effective teams in AI, ML & Data related programs Coach and mentor team members
Model/ strategy development and validation	Statistical Model Development, Validation, and other Data Analysis
Model deployment Good understanding of IT infrastructure	Help in implementing the model Knowledge in Python, R, SAS programming language and cloud infrastructure
