Role Overview

We are seeking a candidate who can manage Monthly/Quarterly/Annual GL close activities for UKG International entities The role involves managing a wide range of accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. Key activities include performing bank reconciliations, preparing prepaid expenses and accrual journals, and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline. The position also encompasses handling various allocations such as facility, fringe, and intercompany (ICO) cross-charges, along with conducting trial balance analysis to identify variances and ensure data integrity. Additionally, the role requires executing ICO reconciliations and settlements, preparing government surveys and performing GAAP vs. STAT reconciliations to ensure adherence to both statutory and corporate accounting standards. The individual will also be responsible for recording transfer pricing and interest on loan journals, contributing to accurate intercompany accounting and compliance with financial regulations. This position will be based out of UKG Noida office in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts including accruals, prepaids, leases and other assets
  • Timely Monthly/Quarterly/Annual accounting books closure
  • Assist with external US GAAP audits and coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the audit process
  • Assist with Statutory accounting process and support audits & Tax/VAT audits including coordination and follow up with stakeholders involved in the audit process
  • Collaborate with Corporate Teams & External consultants to respond to queries related to preparation & filing of Company Financials & Direct Tax Returns
  • Prepare and submit monthly reconciliation in Blackline tool and provide quarterly BS Flux commentary
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate execution of activities like Intercompany accounting/ reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Assist with the implementation of best-in-class accounting processes
  • Help drive process improvement initiatives by applying effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • 7-9 years of accounting work experience including statutory accounting preparation knowledge
  • Required Bachelor of Commerce/ Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and strong analytical skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must required
  • Oracle/ D365 experience will be a plus
  • Ability to embrace technology and change
  • Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
  • Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
  • Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company would be a plus
