We are hiring for the position : Sr Lawyer – Litigation. 

Role Overview

The role holder will be responsible for providing legal support to various Corporate Clients of DSALEGAL spread all over India and to develop and enhance the existing Client base . The position will be based in New Delhi in DSA Legal head office. 

Key Purpose & Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to help deliver, manage and support legal work at senior level within DSALEGAL .

* Provide legal advice to stakeholders at various levels of the firm on relevant subjects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the protection of DSALEGAL s and it's clients legal & commercial interests

* Draft, negotiate, and advise on medium to high complexity commercial litigation & agreements

* ⁠Interact with existing and future clients and to help the firm to grow by client acquisition 

* Deliver adequate legal support (templates, advice, risk management, subject matter knowledge) to accelerate and underpin the expansion of Firm's strategy

* Provide legal support on various matters to legal teams of the Firm & its Clients to achieve the most advantageous and/or beneficial legal and commercial terms. 

* Helps to implement best-practices in legal Litigation, Arbitration, commercial Disputes , civil litigation contracts , intellectual property etc.

* Assists with delivering cost-effective handling of existing litigation and disputes to protect Clients'best interests, including timely and accurate reporting

* Co-ordinate with intra departments of the Firm in respect of commercial and contractual matters where appropriate to ensure that all relevant legal issues are identified and appropriate support is provided

* Assists in the development of best practice with regards to the legal aspects of commercial and contractual matters entrusted

* Influence and assists in discussions between clients and other functions to ensure the best legal solution to meet commercial objectives and to encourage best practices

* Provide regular reports and updates to line manager, Clients and to internal stakeholders, as appropriate

Qualifications/ Requirements:

* LL.B with 9-12 years post qualification experience in litigation as an independent lawyer and/or in law firms.

Strong working experience in Courts at various & their respective process is a must 

* Incumbent must have excellent command over spoken and written English.

* Incumbent must be self-driven and motivated to take initiatives

* Incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle pressure situations with alacrity.

* Incumbent must have multitasking ability. Timely and efficient delivery of legal support is the key.
