Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Laser Tracker Engineer. The Laser Tracker Engineer is responsible for performing precise dimensional inspections, equipment setups, and alignments using state-of-the-art laser tracker devices. Additional tasks include analyzing measurement data, creating comprehensive reports, supporting reverse engineering projects, and collaborating with clients to solve technical challenges. The role requires maintaining equipment calibration and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with laser trackers, 3D scanning systems, and other metrology equipment
- Proficiency in dimensional inspection, alignment techniques, and reverse engineering processes
- Experience with CAD software, data analysis tools, and technical reporting
- Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Effective communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
- Relevant certifications, such as in metrology or laser tracker operations, are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred
