Summary:

As AI LLM Technology Arch Specialist - SAS, you would be responsible to ensure our esteemed business is fully supported. This involves solving day-to-day application issues, business queries, addressing adhoc requests to ensure clients can extract maximum value from the SAS platforms

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with data analysts, developers, and IT teams to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SAS software (SAS 9.4, Viya, etc.) on various platforms (Linux/Windows/Cloud).
• Administer SAS servers, including metadata, compute, and mid-tier servers.
• Manage users, groups, roles, and permissions in SAS Metadata and integrate with Active Directory/LDAP.
• Monitor system performance, SAS jobs, and troubleshoot any issues with logs and root cause analysis.
• Manage and maintain metadata, libraries, data sources, and scheduled jobs.
• Apply patches and coordinate software upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Provide on-call support as needed and serve as the main point of contact for SAS-related issues.
• Ensure data security and platform compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation of SAS environment configurations, procedures, and standards.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proven experience (8+ years) in working as per the above job description is required.
• Must have skills: SAS Platform Administration - SAS 9.4, Viya 3.5/4.0, Kubernetes
• Good to have skills: Cloud Administration – AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with Linux/Unix command-line operations.
• Proficiency in using SAS Management Console, Environment Manager, and related tools.
• Experience with any of the cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.
• Ability to solve complex business problems and deliver client delight.
• Strong writing skills to build points of view on current industry trends.
• Exposure to Retail, Banking, Finance projects is an added advantage.
• Good Client handling skills able to demonstrate thought leadership & problem-solving skills.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAS Analytics.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required., The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field along with a proven record of delivering impactful solutions using SAS Software Administration
