Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer to join our team and help build, maintain, and scale high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Laravel and PHP, understands modern web development practices, and can contribute to both backend and frontend integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (9/10/11+).
- Implement robust APIs, integrations, and third-party services.
- Work with Eloquent ORM, query builder, migrations, and database optimization.
- Collaborate with frontend developers using Blade, Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Ensure application security (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention).
- Optimize performance with caching (Redis, Memcached), queues, and background jobs.
- Write unit and feature tests (PHP Unit, Pest) for reliable code.
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum workflows.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel framework.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) including schema design and performance tuning.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication (Passport, Sanctum), and authorization.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Alpine.js) and build tools (Vite, Mix).
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Working knowledge of Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, and basic DevOps/CI-CD.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Digital Ocean, or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Contributions to Laravel community or open-source projects.
