About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Laravel Developer to join our development team and work on our next-generation ERP and business management platform.

The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable web applications and business modules using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, APIs, and modern web technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Laravel development and should also be comfortable working with platforms such as WordPress, PrestaShop, and other PHP-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Build and enhance ERP modules including business, accounting, invoicing, GST, inventory, sales, purchase, HR, reporting, and other business workflows.
• Develop secure and scalable REST APIs and integrate third-party APIs/services.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases, queries, relationships, and indexes.
• Work with Laravel MVC, Eloquent ORM, migrations, queues, jobs, events, middleware, authentication, and authorization.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and/or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate payment gateways, external services, GST/tax-related services, communication APIs, and other third-party systems where required.
• Troubleshoot bugs, identify performance issues, and implement reliable solutions.
• Work with existing codebases and understand, modify, and improve legacy/custom PHP applications.
• Develop and customize WordPress websites and plugins/themes when required.
• Work with PrestaShop, including module/theme customization and API integrations.
• Follow coding standards, security best practices, Git workflows, and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with the technical and business teams to understand requirements and convert them into working features.
• Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.

Required Skills
Backend

• Strong knowledge of PHP
• Good hands-on experience with Laravel
• MVC architecture
• Laravel Eloquent ORM
• REST API development and integration
• Authentication & authorization
• Laravel migrations, validation, middleware, queues/jobs, events, etc.
• MySQL / relational database design

Frontend

• HTML5

• Bootstrap or similar UI frameworks
• Basic understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js is an advantage

CMS / E-Commerce

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• WordPress
• WordPress plugin/theme development
• WooCommerce
• PrestaShop
• PrestaShop module/theme customization
• Other PHP-based CMS/e-commerce platforms

• Experience working on ERP / CRM / Accounting / Billing software
• Understanding of GST and Indian taxation workflows

• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Experience with cloud servers such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, etc.
