Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Architect Designer/Landscape Designer to join our team. As an Architect Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and planning architectural and landscape projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, landscape architects, and other design professionals to deliver aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural design principles, landscape design concepts, building codes, and construction techniques. You will work during night shift hours to ensure the smooth progress of ongoing projects, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
- Create innovative, sustainable, and functional designs for various types of architectural and landscape projects (residential, commercial, public, etc.).
- Develop preliminary sketches, detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design tools.
- Ensure designs meet the project's specifications, budget, and timeline, while incorporating landscape elements in the overall design.
Rendering & 3D Modeling:
- Produce high-quality 3D renderings and models to visualize architectural and landscape concepts and client proposals.
- Utilize 3D modeling and rendering software to create realistic visualizations of the design (using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Photoshop).
- Refine and adjust renderings based on client feedback.
2D Planning & Drafting:
- Develop detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and landscape layouts using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and design documents to support both construction and landscape installation activities.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, landscape architects, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility and technical accuracy.
- Prepare project documentation, including design reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
- Regularly communicate project updates with stakeholders and ensure all parties are aligned on design objectives.
Code Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, zoning laws, and landscape guidelines.
- Conduct site assessments and coordinate with relevant authorities for necessary approvals and permits.
Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, vision, and project requirements.
- Present design concepts, landscape ideas, and revisions to clients, addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments.
Construction Administration:
- Provide support during the construction and landscape installation phases, ensuring that design intent is adhered to.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any design-related issues during construction.
Research & Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in architecture, landscape design, sustainable practices, and new technologies.
- Explore new materials, landscaping techniques, and design innovations to enhance the quality and functionality of projects
