About the Role
We are seeking a Landscape Design Drafter with experience creating CAD-based plans for residential outdoor living projects. This role owns the production of accurate 2D landscape and hardscape drawings using site measurements, Polycam scans, photos, video walkthroughs, and project specifications.
This is a drafting-focused position, not a landscape architect role. The primary responsibility is producing client-ready plans and construction drawings for outdoor living projects, including patios, pools, pergolas, walkways, retaining walls, decking, and other hardscape features.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D landscape and hardscape plans using CAD software.
- Convert Polycam scans, site measurements, photos, videos, and project documentation into professional drawing packages.
- Produce client-facing conceptual layouts and construction-ready plans.
- Draft residential outdoor living features including patios, walkways, pools, pergolas, retaining walls, stairs, decking, and planters.
- Review project information and identify missing dimensions, scope gaps, or design conflicts.
- Manage revisions and plan updates based on stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and documentation standards across projects.
- Deliver completed plans within established project timelines, typically 48–72 hours from project intake.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Landscape Drafter, CAD Drafter, Landscape Design Drafter, Pool Drafter, or related drafting role.
- Strong experience producing professional 2D CAD plans.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Ability to interpret site measurements, scans, photos, and field documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high drafting accuracy.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant residential landscape, hardscape, pool, or outdoor living projects.

- AutoCAD expertise.
- SketchUp experience.
- Experience with Polycam, Matterport, or similar site-capture technology.
- Experience drafting pools and outdoor living environments.
