Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Landscape Architect role based in Mumbai. The Landscape Architect will develop concepts, plans, and detailed designs for ecological landscapes across urban, industrial, and natural sites, aligning projects with NbS principles and client sustainability goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include site analysis, landscape planning, design development, preparation of planting plans, and coordination with internal ecology and environment teams to ensure integration of biodiversity and climate resilience. The role involves preparing drawings, specifications, and BOQs; supporting project proposals and presentations; and collaborating with contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders during implementation. The Landscape Architect is expected to participate in site visits, monitor ongoing works, and contribute to continuous improvement of Terracon's ecological landscaping and restoration practices.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design for ecological, urban, and industrial projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Planning and Landscaping to translate concepts into buildable, site-responsive solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in developing detailed Planting Plans, with knowledge of native species, habitat creation, and long-term maintenance needs.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS basics, Adobe Suite) and ability to produce clear drawings and visualizations.
Understanding of ecology, biodiversity, and sustainable design principles; experience with restoration or NbS projects is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in Indian regulatory and environmental contexts, including municipal and industrial projects, is preferred.
