Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to design, plan, and execute aesthetically appealing and sustainable outdoor environments across residential and commercial developments. This role will play a key part in enhancing project value through thoughtful landscape design, functionality, and environmental integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual and detailed landscape designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
- Prepare master plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and irrigation designs
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration with overall project design
- Conduct site analysis including soil, climate, drainage, and environmental impact
- Select appropriate plants, materials, and finishes based on sustainability and aesthetics
- Review and coordinate BOQs, vendor drawings, and technical specifications
- Monitor site execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and adherence to design intent
- Work with contractors and vendors for landscape execution and maintenance planning
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental norms, and safety standards
- Incorporate sustainable practices such as water conservation, native planting, and green certifications
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong design sense with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality
- Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills
- Understanding of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion / Revit / Rhino (preferred)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation and cost estimation
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture / Planning
- 12 years of experience in landscape design (real estate experience preferred)
- Experience working on large-scale residential / township / commercial projects
