Role Description The Landscape Architect will be responsible for planning and designing residential and commercial landscapes that align with client needs, site conditions, and Indeville's biophilic design philosophy. Day-to-day tasks include developing concept designs, preparing detailed drawings and planting plans, coordinating with project managers and installation teams, and conducting site visits to ensure design accuracy and quality execution. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, presenting design proposals, and iterating based on feedback. Responsibilities also include selecting appropriate plant species and materials, integrating sustainable design practices, and supporting ongoing maintenance strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design for residential and commercial projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Planning and Landscaping to translate concepts into buildable, maintainable spaces.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Planting Plans, including species selection, layout, and seasonal planning.
• Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., CAD software, SketchUp, or similar) and basic visualization/presentation skills.
• Understanding of sustainable and biophilic design principles, horticulture fundamentals, and site planning best practices.
• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in professional landscape design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Prior experience in residential and/or commercial landscape projects in urban environments is an advantage.
