Job Description

Drafting and vetting of land and property documents (Agreement to Sell, Sale Deed, Lease Deed, Land Aggregator Agreement, NOC, POA, etc.) and assisting in registration and mutation.
Title due diligence including examination of title deeds, government and revenue records, encumbrance checks, and advising on stamp duty and registration.
Coordinating with pan-India lawyers and consultants for land verification, reviewing reports, managing land procurement, and handling legal cases.
Maintaining land-related legal and commercial documents, MIS, system uploads, and updating management on regulatory changes.
Obtaining approvals and clearances from local, revenue, forest, and other authorities for land acquisition.
Liaison with government bodies, local authorities, landowners, aggregators, consultants, and legal counsels.
Filing and defending civil and criminal land-related cases and providing regular updates.
Handling on-ground issues such as local protests.

The Successful Applicant

LLB with 4+ years experience in land legal matters, including litigation and advisory.
Experience in solar/wind sector or land/RE focused law firms preferred.
Knowledge of multi-state land laws and coordination with local landowners and revenue authorities.
Strong pan-India network of local land lawyers.
