Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Land Acquisition Professional role based in Jamuria. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and securing land parcels for current and future industrial projects in alignment with the company's expansion plans. The professional will conduct due diligence on land titles, ownership records, encumbrances, and regulatory requirements, coordinating closely with legal, finance, and project teams. Daily responsibilities include liaising with landowners, local communities, government authorities, and external consultants to negotiate agreements, resolve land-related issues, and ensure timely completion of transactions. The role also includes preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and trackers related to land acquisition, compliance, and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Strong land acquisition and real estate skills, including site identification, feasibility assessment, and transaction structuring.
  • Proficiency in land documentation, due diligence, and title verification, including reading revenue records, maps, and registry documents.
  • Experience in dealing with government bodies and regulatory processes related to land, zoning, environmental clearances, and statutory compliances.
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management abilities to work effectively with landowners, community representatives, and external partners.
  • Solid project coordination and reporting skills, including maintaining trackers, preparing MIS reports, and supporting project timelines.
  • Familiarity with industrial and infrastructure projects, preferably in steel, metals, mining, or related sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Land Management, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jamuria, with readiness for regular field visits and travel within the region as required.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to transparent, compliant land acquisition practices.
