Description

We are seeking a skilled LAN & Wireless Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing local area networks (LAN) and wireless solutions, ensuring high levels of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and managing LAN and wireless network solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Conducting network assessments and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support network requirements.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
• Monitoring network performance and implementing enhancements as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in LAN and wireless network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in wireless technologies (Wi-Fi standards, RF principles, and site surveys).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
