Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Labour Compliances Intern role located in Bengaluru. The intern will assist in ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations, support the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, and provide assistance in the process of audits and inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct AMS tool demonstrations for contractors.
  • Collect all required information from contractors to enable accurate vendor configuration on the AMS tool.
  • Create and schedule vendor audits in line with timelines agreed upon with the client.
  • Ensure vendors upload all required documents on the AMS tool as per the prescribed checklist.
  • Assist in verification of CLRA vendor audits by cross-checking wage payments, EPF/ESIC contributions, working hours, attendance records, and worker safety documents against statutory requirements.
  • Prepare statutory registers under S&E and CLRA, including attendance records, wage registers, leave records, and related compliance documentation.
  • Draft audit reports highlighting non-compliances (e.g., minimum wage gaps, overtime discrepancies, or vendor onboarding issues) along with recommended corrective actions.
  • Review vendor payroll data, declarations, and statutory contributions to identify discrepancies, under-reporting, or missing documents such as PF/ESI challans.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
