Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Technician located in Chennai. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing specimen collection, conducting laboratory tests, maintaining lab records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additional duties include preparing reports, managing lab equipment, and assisting in research and experiments as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in laboratory tests, specimen collection, and handling
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Familiarity with lab equipment maintenance and quality control procedures
• Knowledge of safety standards and adherence to laboratory protocols
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in Laboratory Technology (or related field); Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent is a plus
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work rotational/night shifts
