Responsibilities:
Assist lab technicians and scientists in preparing experiments and tests
Collect, label, and store samples, chemicals, and specimens properly
Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware
Set up laboratory apparatus and materials for practical sessions
Ensure adherence to laboratory safety rules and hygiene standards
Maintain inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and consumables
Prepare reagents and solutions as instructed
Dispose of laboratory waste safely and as per guidelines
Record basic data and maintain lab registers and logs
Support students, teachers, or lab staff during experiments
Report equipment damage, shortages, or safety issues
Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory
