Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Labelling Coordinator to provide global operational support in labelling management activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing technical specifications, collaborating with stakeholders, and preparing precise labelling requirements for the design team. This role also involves supporting other logistics-related projects as needed, requiring strong communication skills and proficiency in data management.

Primary Purpose:

  • Provide global operational support in labelling management activities, including analyzing technical specifications, collaborating with stakeholders, and preparing final labelling requirements for the Labelling Design team.
  • Support other logistics-related projects as and when required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the single point of contact to review labelling requests from Global Molex entities and Supply Chain Hubs. Labelling types include Production Labels, Shipping Labels, and Specific Customer Labels.
  2. Analyze and understand customer labelling specifications, ensuring specific label requirement information is accurately passed to the labelling design team for design.
  3. Ensure all labelling requests are reviewed and responded to timely for the requestor. Work closely with requestors, including Customer Services, Sales Team, and Engineering.
  4. Maintain the Global Labelling database.
  5. Prepare and publish weekly or monthly reports related to labelling activity.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • PC Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft applications, with sound knowledge of Excel, Access, & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read technical specifications and interpret them into labelling requirements.
  • Knowledge in labelling concepts (traceability, bar code, and other technologies) will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a shared services environment will be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Good interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Aptitude to learn products and applications through self-efforts.
