Role Description
The Lab & Production Operator role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for executing routine laboratory and pilot-scale production operations. The role is operational in nature and requires consistency, discipline, and adherence to defined processes.
This position is best suited for individuals seeking stable, hands-on operational roles in laboratory or production environments, rather than academic or purely research-oriented positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of agricultural raw material pre-processing activities, including cleaning, drying, and conditioning
- Preparation, handling, and movement of substrate materials as per documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Supporting packing, sterilization, and incubation workflows
- Operation of laboratory and pilot-scale equipment (including autoclaves) under defined operating protocols
- Maintaining controlled laboratory conditions, including cleanliness, order, and contamination-prevention practices
- Adhering to Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) frameworks, including routine checks and basic documentation
- Supporting R&D and production teams in day-to-day laboratory and pilot operations
- Maintaining process logs, checklists, and operational records

- Willingness to follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and QA/QC protocols
- Physical capability to handle materials and operate equipment
- Basic discipline, punctuality, and reliability
- Must be able to commute daily to Panvel, Navi Mumbai
- Availability for full-time, on-site work without interruption
- Ability to commence work immediately upon selection
