The opportunity:
The Lean Six Sigma Support specialist provides coordinated support to the Hitachi Lean Six Sigma team in a remote environment. This role emphasizes administrative coordination, including stakeholder liaison, communications and training material development, schedule and logistics management for meetings and trainings, performance tracking with Power BI, project oversight, and compliance with timelines and safety standards to facilitate continuous improvement.
How you'll make an impact:
Establish and maintain contact with various Hitachi personnel across departments to address diverse Lean Six Sigma-related topics, fostering collaboration and alignment. Partner with the communications department to create, refine, and ensure the effective rollout of Lean Six Sigma messaging and updates.
Create scripts for training sessions and develop, format, and distribute Lean Six Sigma training materials using PowerPoint to support knowledge sharing and skill development. Oversee calendars for Lean Six Sigma meetings and trainings, including scheduling, updates, and coordination to maintain operational flow.
Manage the execution and facilitation of Lean Six Sigma trainings and meetings, ensuring they align with objectives and run efficiently. Coordinate logistics for Lean Six Sigma trainings, including virtual setups, resource preparation, and remote accessibility to enable seamless participation.
Monitor and follow up on Hitachi Lean Six Sigma improvement indicators using Power BI, analyzing data to support metric-driven enhancements. Design and implement new indicators in Power BI to evaluate Lean Six Sigma performance, project outcomes, and process efficiencies.
Analyze Lean Six Sigma indicator data to draw conclusions, stratify and summarize findings, and identify potential improvement projects based on insights. Track and manage projects for Lean Six Sigma team members and trainees, providing oversight on progress, milestones, and resource allocation.
Offer ongoing follow-up and assistance for foundational Lean Six Sigma team activities, including project controls and assurance of key dates to uphold timelines. Demonstrates clear verbal and written communication (English language) to engage stakeholders, develop materials, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Exhibits strong planning, time management, and multitasking to handle calendars, logistics, and multiple priorities effectively. Applies structured thinking to identify issues, analyze data, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Builds cooperative relationships in a remote environment, supporting team members and contributing to a positive, aligned culture. Adjusts to evolving needs, embraces change, and maintains flexibility in dynamic Lean Six Sigma projects and processes.
Skilled in developing, monitoring, and visualizing performance indicators to drive data-informed decisions and improvements. Proficient in analyzing data, drawing conclusions, stratifying and summarizing insights to identify potential improvement projects.
Competent in creating, formatting, and distributing professional scripts and PowerPoint materials for Lean Six Sigma education. Knowledgeable in overseeing projects, timelines, and logistics using Lean principles like PDCA and Kaizen for consistent results.
Able to engage diverse parties, manage conflicts, and provide coordination support for Lean Six Sigma deployment without leading transformations. Identifies risks, applies systematic problem-solving, and integrates processes to eliminate waste and boost efficiency.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field. With 3 to 6 yrs of experience.
