Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced L3 Storage Operations Engineer (NetApp) with 7–12 years of experience to manage enterprise storage infrastructure across SAN, NAS, and Object Storage environments. The role involves handling production incidents, supporting BAU operations, executing storage projects, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring high availability and performance of storage systems. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in storage technologies, strong Linux skills, and experience working with large-scale, mission‑critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for enterprise storage systems across SAN, NAS, and Object Storage.
  
• Manage and administer storage platforms including NetApp FAS, EMC, IBM GPFS, ECS, etc.
  
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and RCA for storage issues.
  
• Execute storage projects, upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes.
  
• Work extensively on Linux environments—file systems, permissions, VxVM, VCS, HA setups.
  
• Implement and optimize observability, monitoring, and logging for storage systems.
  
• Automate operational workflows using Python scripting.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
  
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of storage platforms.
  
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification

• 5+ years of experience in storage administration (overall 7–12 years total exp).
  
• Strong expertise in:
  
• SAN: Fibre Channel, iSCSI
  
• NAS: NFS, CIFS/SMB
  
• Object Storage: S3
  
• Hands-on experience with NetApp, EMC, IBM, or similar storage products.
  
• Strong Linux administration skills (file systems, VxVM, VCS, HA).
  
• Strong scripting knowledge — Python preferred.
  
• Experience managing and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise storage systems.
  
• Exposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
  
• Good understanding of cloud storage concepts.
  
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  
  

Good to have Skills

• Experience working with:
  
• Pure Storage, Dell EMC, IBM storage solutions
  
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  
• Experience in automation frameworks or IaC tools.
  
• Exposure to distributed/scale-out storage environments.
  
• Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical environments.
  
• Knowledge of performance benchmarking tools and monitoring suites.
