Description
- Experienced SAP BASIS Support Consultant (L3) to manage, support, and optimize SAP landscapes.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced system administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting complex BASIS issues, and providing expert-level support across S/4HANA, and HANA environments.
- This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in high-availability and mission-critical environments.
- Provide Level 3 support for SAP BASIS-related incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Handle complex and critical SAP system issues, including system crashes, performance
degradation, and availability problems.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Support S/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO, and related systems.
- Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and Unicode conversions.
- Execute SAP Enhancement Packages (EHP) and Support Pack Stack (SPS) upgrades.
- Lead S/4HANA conversions, system refreshes, and landscape optimization activities.
- Plan and execute OS/DB upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Administer SAP HANA databases, including installation, configuration, and monitoring.
- Perform HANA performance tuning, memory management, and space optimization.
- Handle HANA backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide L3-level support for SAP BASIS environments
- Handle SAP system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Expertise in SAP HANA administration, upgrades, patches, and system refreshes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure system availability, security, and compliance
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and landscape optimization.
- Manage Transport Management System (TMS) across landscapes (DEVQAPRD).
- Handle transport issues, import errors, and cross-system dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with change management processes and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with functional, ABAP, and security teams during releases.
- Automate routine BASIS tasks using scripts.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, CCMS.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
- Act as a technical escalation point for L1/L2 teams.
- Mentor junior BASIS consultants and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with SAP functional teams, developers, infrastructure, and vendors.
- Participate in client calls, audits, and management reviews.
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration (ECC & S/4HANA).
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows OS for SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP Kernel, ICM, Web Dispatcher, and Gateway.
- Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and system refresh activities.
