Job Description
- Act as a subject matter expert for networking and datacenter
- Implement configuration of all networking and datacenter components for customer deployments
- Provide guidance to L1/L2 engineers
- Maintain high levels of technical certifications on Cisco
- Understanding of major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) (like Cisco, Juniper, Edgecore, Arista) and their product portfolio
- Understanding of network schematics, Data Center Switching and Routing, SD-WAN and role of various network components
- Support activities like site survey, solution design, validating product compliance and producing Bill of Materials (BoM)
- Travel to customer sites for project implementation or troubleshooting as needed
- Effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Strong knowledge of network equipment and hands on configuration experience with L2, L3 managed switches / routers / network devices
- Experience on-site with project implementation
- Proactive communication skills
- Hard-working, Initiative and enthusiasm for learning
Desirable Knowledge And Skills
- CCNP / CCIE qualifications
- Network security and Cloud sizing
- Engineering background
Work Environment
