Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Provide Level 3 support for Aruba wireless and Switching, handling escalated issues from L1 and L2 teams.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for SD-WAN solutions, handling escalated issues from L1 and L2 teams.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for Arista Networking, handling escalated issues from L1 and L2 teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, QoS, and application-aware routing.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Versa Director, Versa Analytics, and Versa Controllers.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement proactive solutions to enhance SD-WAN performance.
• Design and optimize SD-WAN policies, traffic engineering, and security postures.
• Collaborate with network architects and engineers for network design, migration, and upgrades.
• Work with automation tools (Python, Ansible, or Terraform) to streamline SD-WAN operations.
• Assist in the implementation of Zero Trust Security and Cloud Integrations with SD-WAN.
• Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
• Provide support for cloud-based SD-WAN deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead Change and Operational Project Management: Manage and execute changes and projects related to SD-WAN operations to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Expertise troubleshooting knowledge in Palo alto firewall
• Hands on experience in Panorama management & deploying rules
• Security policy creation / Palo alto Image upgrading process
• Implementing & managing IPsec/ SSL / Global protect -VPN connection
• Certification preferred PCNSE ( Palo alto certified network security engineer )
• Manage, configure, and optimize F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application delivery and network-related issues.
• Develop and maintain iRules, traffic policies, and SSL certificates.
• Work closely with security and application teams to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
• Provide Level 3 support, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• F5 certifications (F5-CA, F5-CTS) preferred.
