Role Summary

We are looking for a technically strong Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Linux, troubleshooting, monitoring, and alerting. The candidate will work in a Custom AMS environment, supporting business-critical applications and ensuring application availability, stability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2.5/L3 production support for Java applications.

• Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues and drive them to resolution.

• Perform incident analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and defect resolution.

• Monitor application health, jobs, services, interfaces, logs, and infrastructure alerts.

• Develop or enhance Java scripts and automation utilities for operational support.

• Use Linux/Unix commands for log analysis, troubleshooting, process monitoring, and application support.

• Configure and manage monitoring and alerting to proactively identify production issues.

• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and other support teams.

• Support deployments, releases, change activities, and production validation.

• Identify opportunities for automation, incident reduction, and service improvement.
