We are seeking an experienced L3 IT Hardware Networking Engineer to join our team in India. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex hardware networking solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and security across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware networking systems.
- Managing and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implementing network security measures and protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Monitoring network performance and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.
- Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and training purposes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in IT hardware networking.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with various networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
