L2 Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for data and analytics platforms.
• Perform production break-fix, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalation management.
• Administer Tableau and/or Power BI, including user access, permissions, data sources, refresh failures, and platform-related issues.
• Support Snowflake and DBT environments, including troubleshooting data pipeline and platform issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using Fivetran, AWS Glue, and Airflow.
• Analyze and resolve issues using SQL and Python.
• Manage platform stability, availability, performance, and operational health.
• Participate in RCA, problem management, and preventive action activities.
• Work with application, data engineering, infrastructure, and other support teams for issue resolution.
• Handle incidents, problems, and changes through ServiceNow.
• Follow defined ITIL and production support processes.
• Provide support in a 24x7 rotational support environment.
• Maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in L2 Data Platform / Production Support.
• Hands-on administration experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience with AWS and data integration tools such as Fivetran / AWS Glue.
• Good knowledge of Apache Airflow.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience working with ServiceNow for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Strong production break-fix and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working in 24x7 rotational support environments.
• Strong RCA, incident management, and escalation-handling skills.
