Job Description

  • 7+ Years of Experience in Supporting Mission Critical Unix/Linux production Servers
  • Mastery in Redhat Linux (RHEL5/6/7/8) OS & LVM OS upgrade and Support and Troubleshooting
  • Experience on Shell Scripting
  • Experience on RCA Preparation / Risk Documentation
  • Performance and Problem management on Unix Issues
  • Deep expertise in 1 or 2 Unix technology stacks and ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Experience in Implementing industry best practices.
  • Experience on Veritas Cluster /Any OS Clustering Solution.
  • Experience on Supporting Oracle RAC cluster nodes
  • Experience on Any one of ticketing tools Service Now/Remedy/ ITSM
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Redhat Certification( RHCE) is must
  • Team player and basic leadership skills
  • Ethical and hard working
  • Experience on Veritas cluster
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
  • Experience in system performance monitoring and tuning
  • Identifies and fixes the security /OS vulnerabilities
