L2/L3 Python Automation Testing

Role & responsibilities

Mandatory Skills:

• Overall experience must be between 3 to 8 years.
• At least three years of extensive experience in Python scripting.
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Client Interfacing skills.
• Domain Experience is a must :Network: L2/L3 testing, NMS/EMS Testing

Educational Qualification: BE/MCA/ME/M Tech/MSc

Job Summary:The L2/L3 Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of networking products, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, and identifying issues to ensure that networking products meet or exceed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Plan Development:

• Create comprehensive test plans for L2/L3 network protocols and features.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies.

1. Test Execution:

• Perform manual and automated testing of networking products.
• Conduct performance, scalability, and stress tests to evaluate product limits.

1. Issue Identification and Reporting:

• Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects.
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

1. Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for L2/L3 functionalities.
• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) systems.

1. Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure products comply with industry standards and protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in L2/L3 technologies and apply relevant knowledge to testing processes.

1. Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support.
• Provide input and feedback to improve product quality and testing methodologies.
