The Role
At
Keyrus, we are looking for a
Senior Production Support / DevOps Engineer to support and operate enterprise Java-based platforms in close collaboration with development teams.
This role focuses on
application reliability, cloud operations, and observability, ensuring stable, secure, and performant systems across Azure environments.
The position sits within the same delivery unit as Java developers, acting as a key link between
development, cloud, and operations.
Job location: Pune or Bangalore (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)
Contract type: Permanent
Target start date: February 2026 / March 2026
Working hours: Full-time (40h/week), shifts switch between
APAC and
GMT timezone
Compensation: INR 20,00,000 42,00,000 per year

Your Impact
In This Role, You Will
- Provide production support for business-critical applications, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability.
- Work closely with Java development teams to support application troubleshooting, including log analysis and root cause investigation.
- Support and monitor REST APIs and distributed application components.
- Operate and support applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes (AKS).
- Manage and support cloud services on Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure SQL Server
- Azure Static Web Apps
- Blob Storage
- Static Web Apps
- Support Snowflake environments for data access and operational troubleshooting.
- Perform Unix/Linux operational tasks and environment-level troubleshooting.
- Execute and support DevOps processes, including deployments, releases, and environment validation.
- Implement and use monitoring and observability practices to proactively identify incidents.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow.
- Manage batch processing and scheduling activities using Control-M.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation in Confluence.
- Use GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO) for source control, pipelines, and collaboration.
- Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous service improvement.

What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of strong experience in Production Support / DevOps roles within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting Java applications, including troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems is a good-to-have.
- Experience supporting APIs and service-based architectures.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- Kubernetes (AKS)
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure SQL Server
- Azure Static Web Apps
- Blob Storage
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with GitHub
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and operational workflows.
- Experience with Monitoring and Observability tools, preferably Dynatrace.
- Experience with Snowflake is a good to have (available to upskill)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in consulting environments
- Exposure to international or multicultural projects
