Job Description

Your Role

As an L1/L2 Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of FlowOne, NCOM, and UIV platforms. You will play a key role in maintaining service continuity, executing lifecycle operations, and supporting existing telecom automation useâ€cases.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor application health across FlowOne, NCOM, and UIV by tracking dashboards, alerts, job queues, and resource status.
  • Execute and manage service lifecycle operations including create, deploy, upgrade, scale, heal, and terminate using FlowOne and NCOM.
  • Validate inventory synchronization between UIV and actual network deployments.
  • Handle incidents by diagnosing failed workflows, collecting logs, identifying root causes, and escalating issues when required.
  • Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting by analyzing logs, API calls, payloads, and integration points.
  • Re-trigger workflows and resolve issues within defined operational boundaries.
  • Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams (Kubernetes/OpenStack) for deeper issue resolution.
  • Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Participate in release and change management activities, ensuring stability post-deployment.
  • Support 24×7 operations through shift-based working.

Your Profile

  • 4-5 years of experience in telecom operations, OSS, or NFV/MANO environments.
  • Hands-on experience with FlowOne, NCOM, UIV, or similar OSS orchestration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of network lifecycle management, service descriptors, and package onboarding.
  • Experience in troubleshooting REST/SOAP APIs, logs, and system integrations.
  • Basic awareness of cloud platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenStack.
  • Proficiency in Linux for log analysis and system checks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Nokia Digital Operations (Orchestration Center, Assurance Center).
  • Knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python/Bash).
  • Telecom domain knowledge (core networks, provisioning).
