L 2 NETWORK ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

Network Designing / Planning / Implementing, Migration and Troubleshooting

Working on Incident / Change / Problem tickets and to be part of all Major Incidents.

Leading the L2 Network Team / Mentoring / Managing & providing technical / process training.

Implement and maintain LAN / WAN and WLAN equipment's from various vendors.

Upgrade network hardware and software components as required, Detecting Firmware Vulnerabilities by using various tool (Cisco Total care / Rapid7 / SolarWinds NCM Module),

Upgrade Plans / Process Creation / Automating the task (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, FTD, FMC,

WAN Optimizers)

Switch configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, Private VLANs / VTP-v3 / STP / PVSTP / RSTP

/ MST / EtherChannel / UDLD / SPAN / RSPAN / DAI / IP Source Guard / SNMP / NTP / STORM

CONTROL / Port-Security / SWITCH STACK / HSRP / VRRP / GLBP / AAA / Dot1x / MAB /

SNMP / DHCP / DHCP Snooping Etc.

Router configuration with static and Dynamic routing protocols RIP / OSPF / EIGRP / Route

Redistribution / Route summarization / Route-maps / Access-lists / Prefix-lists / NetFlow / IPLA /

VRF etc.

Firewall Configuration GRE / IPsec / NAT / PAT / SFR Installation / Access Control Policy /

Prefilter / Intrusion / Malware and File / SSL / Identity etc

Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on SDA, LAN segmentation, Cisco Wireless

Access Points, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Meraki wireless

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise network environments, including L3-level support.

Must have good communication skill (written and verbal)

Should have cisco switch configuration knowledge of the technologies below..

o STP, VTP, Port-channel, SNMP, Access-list.

o Candidate should have routing protocol knowledge.

o Static, OSPF, BGP, Redistribution.

o Candidate should have Fortinet/FortiGate and Cisco ASA Firewall knowledge.

o Candidate should have Cisco Wireless technology knowledge.

o Candidate should have network issue troubleshooting skills
