About the team

slice is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Video KYC Associate (Gujarati Speaking) to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be instrumental in enhancing our customer onboarding experience by conducting video-based verifications. You will interact with customers through video calls-primarily Gujarati-speaking customers-ensuring accurate collection and verification of their identification documents while adhering to regulatory requirements. As a VKYC Associate, you will combine digital skills, operational knowledge, and strong customer interaction to deliver a smooth and compliant onboarding process.

About the role

• Conduct Video KYC (VKYC) processes by performing customer identification through video calls.
• Interact with Gujarati-speaking customers to complete due diligence checks and verify KYC documentation.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring customers feel comfortable throughout the verification process.
• Demonstrate excellent video-based customer handling and communication skills.
• Show a strong willingness to work in a digital onboarding environment.
• Adhere strictly to internal control policies and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and legal standards.
• Meet and achieve defined monthly performance metrics, including VKYC completion targets, productivity, availability, and handling efficiency.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Fluency in Gujarati (mandatory) along with good proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and customer interaction skills.
• 0–2 years of experience in fintech, banking processes, video banking, or phone banking (preferred but not mandatory).
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
