Job Description

The Kubernetes Engineer is responsible for day-to-day reliability engineering, operational stability, and automation for applications and services running on the enterprise Kubernetes platform built on Red Hat OpenShift and Portworx persistent storage. This role blends Kubernetes workload operations, observability, and AI-enabled automation to reduce toil and continuously improve service reliability.


The Kubernetes Engineer works as a consumer of the OpenShift and Portworx platform – owned and operated by the Platform Engineering team – and is expected to understand workload behaviour, persistent storage interactions, and platform-layer signals well enough to isolate, escalate, and resolve reliability issues effectively

  • ceMonitor application and service health across OpenShift namespaces using Datadog, Splunk, OpenShift's built-in monitoring stack (Prometheus/Alertmanager/Grafana), and respond to incidents within SL
