Job description
- Good knowledge in Linux operating system like RHEL and Ubuntu Install and configure K8S in on-prem and cloud.
- Ability to handle internals of K8S.
- Ability to configure authentication engine of choice to serve as user database for K8S like Okta/LDAP
- Ability to deploy and configure the EFK stack for centralized logging
- Experience in deploying and configuring Prometheus and Grafana for centralized monitoring
- Ability to design private docker registry (private registry)
- Thorough knowledge with regards to handling certificates within K8S.
- Good hands-on in pipeline job creation and management.
- Ability to handle source code manager tools like Git.
- Good understanding of Ansible, ansible tower and ability to create playbooks.
- Sound knowledge with regards to Linux/Kubernetes networking concepts. Deployment & configuration of Service Mesh.
- Preferred certifications - RHCSA, RHCE, CKA, Ansible
- Ability to create and manage containers Eg: docker, crio, containerd Ability to install native Kubernetes cluster
- Good understanding of Kubernetes internals. like pods, static pods, configMap, deployments, Daemon set
- Ability to handle security context in k8s
Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes clusters and orchestration.
- Experience with developing and deploying containerized applications.
- Experience with K8S/K3S Helm charts.
- Skilled at working across a geo-separated team
