Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our containerized infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Monitor cluster performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate them with Kubernetes environments
- Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
- Ensure security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management using tools like Helm, Terraform, or Ansible
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline workflows
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 510 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years in Kubernetes administration
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and components
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Good understanding of networking concepts and security practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
