Korean Language Translator

Summary

Samsung Electro-Mechanics is seeking a bilingual professional for the role of Korean Translator & PMO Support. This hybrid position involves real-time Korean English translation and active project coordination. Key responsibilities include translating business and technical documents, live interpretation during meetings, and supporting cross-functional project activities such as maintaining trackers, preparing MoMs, and ensuring communication alignment between Korean and Indian teams. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree, possess at least TOPIK Level 3 or 4 proficiency, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities

• Interpret live during project discussions, reviews, and calls with clients or vendors.
• Translate internal communications, SOPs, and project materials while ensuring cultural, contextual accuracy.
• Maintain and update project trackers, dashboards, and documentation in collaboration with project leads.
• Prepare and circulate meeting minutes (MoM), follow-up reports, and track action items.
• Coordinate effectively between Korean counterparts and local teams to ensure timely communication and documentation flow.
• Support scheduling, planning, and execution of project review meetings.
• Record project decisions and ensure alignment among stakeholders across different time zones.
• Assist in the creation and translation of presentations and project reports for internal and external use.
• Handle multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced, global project environment.
