Korean Interpreter

Role Description The Korean Interpreter will provide high-quality interpretation between Korean and English (and/or local languages) for client meetings, internal discussions, and project-related communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting live conversations, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate meaning transfer, and assisting with clarification of technical or industry-specific terminology. The role may also involve basic translation of short documents, scripts, or presentations when needed, and close coordination with project managers and other language professionals. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular availability at the company's or clients locations.
Qualifications

• Strong Korean and English language skills, including advanced reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation (consecutive or simultaneous), with the ability to convey meaning accurately and neutrally.
• Solid understanding of Korean and Indian cultural nuances to ensure contextually appropriate communication.
• Ability to handle business and technical terminology; familiarity with media, IT, or corporate environments is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, professionalism, and clear, confident communication.
• Strong attention to detail, with the capacity to remain focused and accurate under time constraints.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, maintaining punctuality, reliability, and collaborative behavior with diverse teams.
• Relevant education in languages, translation/interpretation, or related fields; professional certification in interpreting is a plus.
• Prior experience in a translation or interpretation company, or similar language-services environment, is preferred.
