Role Description The Knx Integrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing KNX-based smart home automation systems. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project requirements, creating KNX system layouts, programming KNX devices, and integrating lighting, HVAC, security, and shading controls. The role involves on-site installation support, system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure reliable performance and user-friendly operation. The Knx Integrator will collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other technical professionals, document configurations, and provide handover support and basic training to clients. This role also requires adherence to safety standards, timely project execution, and continuous learning on KNX and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of KNX protocols, KNX topology, and KNX device programming; experience using KNX configuration tools (e.g., ETS).
  • Practical experience with smart home systems integration, including lighting control, HVAC, security, and energy management solutions.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and site installation practices; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in system testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve configuration and hardware issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams; strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects on-site while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, or automation engineering; KNX certification or training is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in home or building automation projects, particularly within residential or commercial environments, is an advantage.
