Knitting machinery Industry salesman

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Textile Machinery Salesman to join our team. The candidate should have a strong background in textile machinery sales and good technical knowledge of textile manufacturing and processing machines.

The ideal candidate should understand knitting machines, textile processing machines, and fabric finishing machines and be able to communicate effectively with customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads and develop business opportunities in the textile industry.
• Visit textile mills, garment manufacturers, processing units, and other potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable textile machinery.
• Explain machine features, specifications, applications, and benefits to customers.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Follow up with customers from initial enquiry to order confirmation.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Coordinate with the technical and service team for machine installation, trials, and customer support.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and provide sales updates.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.

• Good knowledge of the textile machinery industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good understanding of machine specifications and applications
• Ability to identify customer requirements
• Strong sales and follow-up skills
• Willingness to travel for customer visits
• Ability to develop long-term customer relationships
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting
• Good command of English, Hindi, and Punjabi

Qualification

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant experience in textile machinery sales may also be considered.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in textile machinery sales is preferred.

Candidates with experience in selling knitting machines, textile processing machinery, fabric finishing machines, or textile machinery spare parts will be preferred.
