ABOUT THE BRAND
No Mondays is the boys wear brand under House of Stori, a multi-brand apparel group with four labels spanning casualwear, formalwear, denim, and kidswear. No Mondays designs fun, wearable clothing for boys aged 4–14 — think bold prints, playful colour, and clothes kids actually want to wear. We operate at a wholesale and manufacturing scale, so everything you design goes into production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design seasonal collections for boys aged 4–14 across categories:
Shirts, Jeans, Cargos, Joggers, Co-ord sets.
- Build trend boards, colour palettes, and print directions relevant to the Indian kids market
- Create detailed tech packs including flat sketches, colourways, fabric specs, and trim details ready for sampling.
- Work closely with the production and merchandising teams through sampling, fit corrections, and bulk sign-off of PP samples.
- Analyse sell-through data and buyer feedback to iterate designs and improve range performance each season.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–5 years of experience in apparel design, with at least 1 year specifically in kidswear or boys wear
- Degree or diploma from a reputed fashion design institute (NIFT, Pearl, Symbiosis, or equivalent)
- Strong sketching ability and proficiency in Corel Draw (Preferred) / Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for tech packs and flat drawings.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric behaviour, and manufacturing constraints
- Awareness of kids safety standards and age-appropriate design sensibility.
- Comfortable in visiting both Sourcing and Sales Trade Shows.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with print design or surface ornamentation (screen print, placement prints, all-overs).
- Familiarity with Indian retail market dynamics, festival dressing, and school-segment buying patterns.
- Prior experience in a Boyswear design role.
